Unexpectedly Expecting

This year was an emotional rollercoaster. I lost the motivation to write, which most writers experience a time or two (grace to us all). During the midst of writer’s block, I was able to pick up a pen and journal. Returning to the basics of short journaling during this period kept me somewhat sane.

Looking back over my musings revealed the whirlwind of emotions I experienced, and I decided I wanted to share them. Initially, I intended to keep my experiences separate in an effort to prevent losing who I am as an individual. I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge a new part of me. So here’s the first of my motherhood series entitled Letter to My Unborn Child.
